Guess Where I Work Now?

All the things you know about me and all the things I like to do what's always tops on my list?
If you said drinkin' wine then ding! ding! ding!
Yep I'm at the L.C.B.O. now and loving it.
There is something so soothing about being around rows and rows of liquor and wine!
FYI for those of you (ahem 'Lene) who find yourself looking for part-time work at any point in the year, this is a sweet gig. The pay is stellar, especially for what I actually do, and I was able to tell them exactly which days I wanna work, and here's the kicker: they pay for school!
Me , I'm still gonna do my mag journo bit but my new focus is writing for Food & Drink. Apparently as long as I can explain the relation and benefits to using my skills for the liquor store (which fortunately for me I can) they'll reimburse me for classes! In training we were even told that they'll pay for law school if you work it right! Marketing, PR, design...the list goes on and on. I'm super psyched. And seriously on the track to take advantage of everything and anything these guys have to offer. I've been told by the veterans of the trade that so many people who work for them, just do the bare minimum and work their shifts and call it a day but I want everything that's coming to me! They even have a whole slew of on-line courses.

I'm planning on taking some food writing and food styling classes at George Brown so I can get my liquor swerve on.

Trust. Even I am surprised at how fervent I am about this new venture but I LOVES my wine and I'd LOVE to get paid to drink and write. Is that so wrong?

In other news I'm back to baking and I'm going a little flour crazy right now but the goodies are looking fierce - if you can describe Meyer lemon filled eclairs fierce.
Who wants some?!

Oh and for all y'all who aren't even tryin' to hear it: 55 days till Christmas!!!! Wheeeeee!
